Photography has been a creative outlet of mine since the birth of my first son.

Michael Decker

Art Director | Print & Web Designer | Creative Craftsman

For over three decades, I’ve helped brands translate strong visual ideas into meaningful experiences across print and digital. My work bridges classic design fundamentals — typography, photography, and illustration — with modern interactive storytelling that connects people to brands.

I began my career as a traditional print designer, building identities, campaigns, and collateral that emphasized clarity and craft. As design evolved, I expanded into digital media, applying the same disciplined eye for layout, hierarchy, and color to web and interactive projects. That blend of heritage and innovation continues to shape my approach today: strategic, thoughtful, and timeless by design.

Beyond the studio, I’m also a woodworker, founder of Old 33, where I bring design principles to life through handcrafted signage and art pieces. It’s a creative extension of what I do every day: balancing precision with imagination, and turning ideas into tangible forms.

When I’m not designing or in the workshop, I’m spending time with my wife and our two boys. I’m always searching for the next creative challenge, whether it’s a new brand identity or a fresh piece of walnut on the workbench.

Let’s create something that lasts.
